Wick trimming is essential to efficient candle burning. 1/4 inch is the ideal lenght for our large 30cl candles, slightly shorter for the small range. Trim the wick before every burn by using wick trimmer, scissors or your fingers and pich off the end.
- Large candles: Burn the candle for the first time for at least 3 hours, this will allow a full melt pool to avoid tunneling in the future. Do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time as it can cause the jar to overheat.
- Small candles: Burn the candle for at least 1 hour for the first time to gain a full melt pool. Burn approximately 1-2 hours each time to avoid overheating.
Snap a piece off your wax melt bar and place it in a clean electric or tealight burner. You can reuse the same piece of wax until all the fragrance evaporates.
To remove or change tha wax melt simply heat it slightly and remove it with a paper towel or tissue. Wipe your burner clean and enjoy another wax cube!
As we use natural coconut and rapeseed wax and fragrance oils, frosting on top of the candle or sink holes can occur when the candle cools off quickly after being blown out. This is purely a cosmetic issue and it does not affect the performance of your candle.
Keep you candle or wax burner out of the reach of children, pets and any draft.
Do not light the candle directly below objects or next to an open window.
Never leave your candle or melted wax unattended with your children and pets.
